Illustrated with photographic plates, text ills, endpaper maps etc. Originally privately printed in 1953, this is the third impression of the 1967 edition, and regarded as something of a classic amongst books about Dartmoor. Wrapper spine sunned but title remains distinct. Inside sleeves of wrapper rather foxed, and the edges of the plates in the text block have browned, the text and plates unaffected. Overall a VG copy in dustwrapper. A heavy work weighing c1350g when suitably parcelled, exceeding the default weight of 1000g for the postage quotation, and invoking a request for the extra postage at cost at time of order ( or can be supplied on request in advance ) if to be sent overseas or by 1st class UK post ( 2nd class UK not affected ).
