He has about him much ready animal ingenuity, and is capable of almost infinite resource." This classic of nineteenth century poaching includes one lengthy chapter on salmon and trout poaching. A great read for every young rustic of infinite resource. This edition, edited by Geoff R. Worrall, makes no reference to John Watson and omits his short Editorial Note. .
