Die Glitzermeile enttarnt sich auf Schmidts Bildern als reine Fassadenwelt scheinbar ohne jeden Inhalt, als nicht mehr zu überbietende Megalomanie - ohne dabei auch nur im Geringsten an Faszination zu verlieren.
