The both qualitative and quantitative method was delivered in order to collect the data with test, observation, and questionnaire as the instruments of the research. It was believed by applying Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS), the teacher is able to enhance students' reading comprehension ability. It can be proved that there is significantly development in the result of the students from the Pre-Test to 2nd Cycle Post-Test. The result also revealed there were high percentage of students who agree that PALS as learning strategies improve their reading comprehension ability. 80 pp. Englisch.
