In most cases, the results of these examinations were normal, confirming the psychogenic origin of the vast majority of ED. In terms of evolution, 25.8% regained a normal erection, 45.5% noted a progressive improvement over several months, while 6.1% showed intermittent improvement and 7.6% noted no improvement; 3.0% noted a worsening of the dysfunction.
