Kolorierter Kupferstich, um 1740. 12,5 x 30,6 cm (Darstellung) / 13,9 x 30,6 cm (Blatt). - Innerhalb der Darstellung oben lateinisch, unterhalb deutsch betitelt. - Darstellung der Fassade des Königlichen Schlosses in Berlin mit exerzierenden Soldaten, Kutschen und weiteren Staffagefiguren im Vordergrund.… Bildfeld des berühmten und seltenen Sammelblatts mit den Sehenswürdigkeiten Berlins. - Blatt rund um das Bildfeld beschnitten, oben mit Rand des Sammelblatts. Geglättete Mittelfalte, entlang dieser etwas geknittert. Verso Blatt im Ganzen alt auf ein Trägerpapier aufgezogen. Das Kolorit der Zeit in den typischen Farben frisch und lebendig. Insgesamt in gutem Erhaltungszustand. - - (1678 Augsburg - 1757 ebenda). Deutscher Kartograf und Kupferstecher, Gründer der Druckerei und des Verlages Seutter. Begann 1697 eine Lehre bei Johann Baptist Homann in Nürnberg, arbeitete danach im Augsburger Verlag von Jeremias Wolff. Gründete um 1710 seinen Verlag, in dem über 500 Landkarten, Globen und Atlanten entstanden. Seutter hat seine Karten hauptsächlich selbst nach Vorlagen anderer Kartografen graviert. Für das künstlerische Beiwerk der Kartuschen zog er Augsburger Künstler wie Martin Gottfried Crophius, Melchior Rhein oder Gottfried Rogg heran. Die bekanntesten Werke Seutters sind der "Atlas Geographicus" von 1725, der "Grosse Atlas" von 1734 sowie der Taschenatlas "Atlas minor" von 1744.
