The letter has his address in East Grinstead and is dated "194…5 April 28." The recipient, Mr. Tompkins, has written on the top of the half-title, "A gift from my dear friend, Patrick Moore." Colour map of moon to endpapers. Illustrated with photographs and drawings. A clean and sound copy in a slightly worn wrapper with chips and tears to extremities.
