Published in Birmingham in 1893 this is a very interesting early bibliography of books and documents that contain information on the early history and development of the Railways in Britain, bound in the original cloth binding, just under 7 inches tall, internally the book is divided into two part, the first part running to 128 pages, the second part, a supplement to the first runs to 92 pages packed with fascinating information, the covers have some sunning wear, some mild wear to corners and spine ends, internally an old bookplate of a previous owner to front pastedown, lacks front endpaper, a previous owner has used pen and pencil to underline or side-line different entries on an off throughout, along with some occasional hand written notes, else contents in good general condition.
