Francese Metà '800, volume in discreto stato, antica dedica con firma appartenenza all'occhiello, pagine naturalmente ingiallite e con sfumature brunite ai bordi, con fioriture sparse, tracce di vecchia umidità, strappetto al bordo di alcune pagine, illustrazioni in nero nei testi e tavole fuori testo… alcune delle quali libere dalla cucitura, macchia marrone al margine inferiore delle ultime 50 carte, lungo strappo ala prima e alla seconda pagina, rilegatura rigida, piatto anteriore con titoli e ricchi decori dorati, con tracce di vecchia umidità, di polvere, con danni lungo i bordi e soprattutto agli angoli, dorso mancante, piatto posteriore quasi staccato. Der Graf Ludovic Hébert de Beauvoir (1846-1929) begann seine Laufbahn als Reisender schon im Alter von 19 Jahre…n. Zusammen mit einem Kinderfreund und Marineoffizier begab er sich auf eine Weltreise, die ihn in zwei Jahren von Australien und weiter über Niederländisch-Indien, Siam, China und die Vereinigten Staaten führte. Die erste Veröffentlichung seines abenteuerlichen Reiseberichtes Voyage autour du monde" im Jahr 1867 war ein großer Erfolg.- Einband etwas berieben; Rückdeckel mit kleiner Fehlstelle im Bezug; Kapitale und Außengelenke beschabt; erstes Blatt gebräunt, stockfleckig, mit kleinem Einriss und gelöschtem Namenszug; Vortitel stark stockfleckig und mit Abklatsch auf gegenüberliegender Seite; die ersten und letzten Seiten gebräunt und stockfleckig; gelöschter Eintrag auf dem ersten weißen Blatt.
