Die erste Veröffentlichung seines abenteuerlichen Reiseberichtes Voyage autour du monde" im Jahr 1867 war ein großer Erfolg.- Einband etwas berieben; Rückdeckel mit kleiner Fehlstelle im Bezug; Kapitale und Außengelenke beschabt; erstes Blatt gebräunt, stockfleckig, mit kleinem Einriss und gelöschtem Namenszug; Vortitel stark stockfleckig und mit Abklatsch auf gegenüberliegender Seite; die ersten und letzten Seiten gebräunt und stockfleckig; gelöschter Eintrag auf dem ersten weißen Blatt.
