There's no listing of the volumes, but it seems like a complete series: Vol. 9 concludes with "The Kipling Index," a meticulous 48-page listing of every story and poem in "the authorized American trade edition of Rudyard Kipling's works." But the index refers to a few volumes that aren't in this series, so go figure.

There a couple of bumped corners, two of the covers have minor water marks; the trimmed heads are color dyed. The fore edge of The Light That Failed has a book worm hole which starts on page 31 to 80 and does not go into the printing. The endpapers have aged brown and have no writing, the title page has detached in "The Light That Failed", but is still there. The interiors are clean and have no writing; the pages have aged brown. Complete sets are very uncommon due to the long publishing history and the fact that, though it is called a Uniform Edition, it was never sold new as a set. Someone has clearly spent years putting this together.

A bright and notably well preserved set. Macmillan's uniform pocket edition was published over a long period of time and seldom comes complete, this volume comprises all those listed on the verso of the half titles except "Songs from Books". Nor does it include any volumes of Kipling's verse which, although not listed, often appear in this format.
