Severe cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards and pages to be loose. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to front pastedown and endpaper. Water staining to some pages, text remains unaffected. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends. Foxing and water staining overall.

Hardbound decorated floral card pages with verse and biblical text cards. Light blue decorative coloured boards. Pencilled inscription on front endpaper and small pencilled doodle on rear endpaper. Hinges a bit weak. Light blue cloth shows a bit of colour fading and there are a few marks on the back cover but condition of publication is good for its date and type.

Pages are very bright with the odd small handling mark. Light spotting and minor age toning to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription and small closed tear to the front endpaper. Very Good. book.
