Max Nehrdich (1880 in Eisenach - 1959) war ein deutscher Fotograf. Er war ab 1917 vierzig Jahre der Bühnenfotograf des Kasseler Staatstheaters. Er machte ca. 75000 Theateraufnahmen. Ein großer Teil seiner Bilder fiel dem Bombenangriff im Oktober 1943 zum Opfer. Er war der Vater von Rolf-Werner Nehrdich (1912-2002), der in Kassel die Höhere Lehranstalt für Fotografie (Private Lehranstalt für Moderne Lichtbildkunst) gründete. Hier lernte u.a. der berühmte Modefotograf und Gründungsdirektor des Hauses der Photographie in den Deichtorhallen Hamburg, F. C. Weltkrieg zerstört) und wahrscheinlich an der Staatlichen Lehranstalt des Berliner Kunstgewerbemuseums (seit 1924 Vereinigte Staatsschulen für Freie und Angewandte Kunst) u.a. bei Emil Orlik (eigene Angaben von Weidmann-Wilton).
