Paper clip had been holding a 3 X 5 card with a book description from the Stewart Kidd Department of Old and Rare Books in Cincinnati, OH. Interior pages are clean. 10 full page black and white engraved plates by Harry Clarke.

First of this edition published by John Lane, with illustrations by Harry Clarke. A particularly fresh copy.

Light bumping to tips, else fine in crisp black dj with recent interior tape reinforcement to foot of spine and edges of jacket folds and a strip of matching black paepr glued to inside top edge of dj. No previous owner's marks.
