Neuware -Mobile agent is a vehicle equipped with powerful transceiver and battery which finds the shortest path to gather data from the sensors and finally transports the data to the sink. The problem of minimizing the length of each data-gathering tour is mainly focused here. The mobile agent involves Bee Colony Optimization for travelling salesman problem. The Artificial Bee Colony algorithm (ABC) optimization is a population-based search algorithm which applies the concept of social interaction to problem solving. This algorithm is applied to the process of path planning problems for the mobile agents; it finds the shortest path for the mobile agents to collect the data from sensors as well as best in computation time. The effectiveness of the paths has been evaluated with the parameters such as tour length, agent travel time by Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm. This algorithm also prolong the lifetime of the sensors when compared to other existing approaches. Artificial Bee Colony algorithm has the advantages of strong robustness, fast convergence and high flexibility. This approach gives the best results for finding the shortest path in a shortest time.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 68 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -A Redundancy Removal Data Collection Approach Based on Mobile Sink for Heterogeneous Sensor Networks is proposed which is using both the mobile sink approach and redundancy removal mechanism. In redundancy removal mechanism, the sensor nodes will sense the data and send it to the cluster head for the first time, but after that if the sensed data is same i.e. within the specified interval of time, then the nodes will send only the difference between the previously sent data and the current sensed data. If the sensed data is out of the specified range or interval , then node will send the complete data again. The proposed work reduces the number of bits to be transmitted over the network which decreases the energy consumption and hence increases network lifetime.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 64 pp. Englisch.

Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book offers a systematic view of data services in heterogeneous wireless networks, from the perspectives of cause, governing rules, and impact of data's mobility on such networks. Specifically, it covers application requirements break-down, network modeling, performance analysis and evaluation by examining mobile data dynamics that are particularly important to data service provisioning. Additionally, application prospects such as information dissemination, fog computing, Internet-of-Things and dynamic spectrum access are discussed on the basis of these dynamics. Theoretic analysis, example illustrations, and algorithms are also presented to provide a concise coverage of this important area of networking.Mobile data dynamics refers to the stochastic processes of information, geographical coverage and spectrum, which accompanies the movements of data across wireless networks. Owing to the challenge raised by a high level of network heterogeneity, and the innate requirement on scalability, knowledge on the evolution of mobile data dynamics is essential to the design and deployment of emerging data services and applications, such as Internet-of-Things, data/task offloading and edge-based machine learning/inference.This book is designed for researchers and advanced-level students in the field of wireless networking and edge computing, who seek to understand the models and evolutions of mobile data dynamics for future edge applications. Practitioners, who specialize in the design, operation and maintenance of edge computing systems will also want to purchase this book as a reference.
