Caricature di attori, attrici e altri personaggi del teatro e del cinema italiano disegnate da Umberto Onorato (Lucera 1898 - Cassino 1967) dagli anni '20 agli anni '60. Artista e scenografo talvolta accostato al futurismo, Onorato firmò le sue celebri caricature per moltissimi periodici italiani, spesso disegnando gli attori dal vivo durante le rappresentazioni teatrali; questo volume raccoglie poco meno di 160 caricature di personaggi celebri come Petrolini, Sergio Tofano, Vittorio Gassman, Tina Pica, Eduardo de Filippo, Gino Cervi, Giorgio De Chirico, Vittorio de Sica, Anton Giulio Bragaglia, Vera Vergani, Aldo Fabrizi, Dina Galli, Mario Soldati, Totò, Raf Vallone, Monica Vitti. Le immagini sono accompagnate da una nota introduttiva del critico teatrale rodigino Gian Antonio Cibotto. Questo esemplare è impreziosito dagli autografi lasciati in calce al proprio ritratto da alcuni dei personaggi effigiati: Valentina Fortunato, Sergio Fantoni, Enrico Maria Salerno, Cesarina Gherardi, Gianrico Tedeschi, Giorgio Albertazzi, Glauco Mauri, Anna Lelio, Salvo Randone, Rossella Falk, Giuliana Lojodice, Mario Maranzana e Valeria Valeri.
