Zumbusch* signiert ( das danebenstehende Wort ist leider unleserlich, möglicherweise handelt es sich dabei um eine Ortsangabe ), alt in aufwendigem Vollholzrahmen gerahmt ( Rahmenmaß: 34 x 38 cm ), undatiert ( ca. um 1910 ). Gezeigt wird eine Mutter auf einer Gartenbank sitzend in italienisch anmutender Landschaft. Sie hält ihren Säugling im Arm an der fast entblößten Brust, links von ihr ein stehender Knabe in ihrem Arm. Das Gemälde von guter Erhaltung , der Rahmen gering bestoßen. Der Rahmen verdeckt von der Signatur das *L* des Ludwig von Zimbuschs. Ein aussdrucksstarker, naturrealistischer Löwe in Bronze mit schöner Patina auf einem grossen Granitsockel. Der Löwe mit Signatur *N. Greb * sowie gegossenem Gießerstempel ( "B" in Amphore ). Gesamtmaß incl. Sockel 45 cm Höhe, 46 cm Länge, 18 cm Breite. Der Bronzelöwe misst ohne Sockel 25:37:10 cm. Gesamtgewicht ca. 22000 Gramm. Mit seinem langgestreckten Körper scheint er in naturrealistischer Form wie zum Absprung bereit. Der Bildhauer Nam Greb ( *1861 - 1936 ) folgt hier seiner Gabe zur realistischen Wiedergabe in einer gelungenen Komposition des Tieres.
