Fine condition book in Fine condition dust wrapper. Loosely inserted full-page hand-written letter dated 15th February 2010 | Ewell 'Dear Josie, The original owner of this volume, Major Doctor Jonathan May, was a former Army colleague of mine, who saw active service in the Middle East and was a Regimental Historian for several years - who went on to be a University Vice Chancellor. Jonathan passed away in 2005 and his military books went to a special Army and Navy Military Library in London. However, this December his family sent me a recently surfaced 'WRAC History', which encompasses FANNY, WAAC, ATS and WRAC, thinking that I might like it!! I responded immediately to say it would shortly be en route to Sandwich and a very appropriate new home. In fact this 'WRAC History' was the only one published and is now quite scarce, and definitely unobtainable in Second Hand Book Shops - even in the triangle of Bristol! At least your family will have a chance to see what you got up to! Warmest regards, Geoff'. Member of the P.B.F.A. MILITARY (Armed Warfare).
