Pages… slightly yellowed. Vol. II stained at edges of text block. Illustrated with a few small engravings in b/w. Brown cloth boards with blind stamped decoration on front and back boards, lettered in gilt at spines. Boards lightly scuffed and soiled, edges slightly worn, corners bumped and worn to boards, spines worn at top and bottom, with some chipping and loss. Front board detached on both volumes. Back hinges cracked. Original sewn binding of text block firm and intact.
