Conducted near Hay, New South Wales (34.5°S, 144.93°E) from 15 July to 27 August 1967, the experiment combined hourly pilot-balloon winds, radiosonde temperature and humidity profiles, micrometeorological flux measurements, and continuous surface observations to produce one of the classic benchmark datasets for planetary boundary-layer research. The report assembles the full observational record, derived quantities and metadata, and has been repeatedly used to test and refine Moninâ"Obukhov similarity theory, surface-flux parameterizations, and numerical models of the daytime and nocturnal boundary layer; later analyses of Wangara data by Hicks and others remain standard references in micrometeorology. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall.
