The editors have gathered from the pages of little fantasy 'zines…and periodicals the weird fictions and poems of Barlow, an acolyte and friend of H.P. Lovecraft. Perhaps unknown to his literary audience, a few years after the death of Lovecraft, Barlow shifted gears to become a pioneering expert on Mexican Indian pictorial manuscripts, serving for a time as the head of the Anthropology Dept. at Mexico City College. He was also a chief editor of the the ethnohistory volumes of the mandarin _Handbook of Middle American Indians_. Ships fast with tracking.
