Raamatut ilmestavad Artur Adsoni enda joonistused. 9789949684779.

Wrappers, 63 pp. The Book is in excellent condition without any visible defects, damages, losses, remarks and stains. Little wrapped cover edges. Present book's author achieved his best in literature career with two first love poetry collections "Henge palango" (Fire in Soul) and "Wana Laterna" (Old Latern). Wana Laterna consists of warm and light caressing poems, in which on the one hand dominate nostalgic childhood memories of village life and nature's splendor descriptions, linked on the other hand with young love experiences with poetess Marie Under. In developing both themes, Adson uses an old-fashioned and pious style, sentimental and diminutive manner. Verses are written in Wõro dialect, and author's "new language" searchings make him the famous dialect poets in Estonian literature. Artur Adson (1889-1977) was an Estonian poet, writer and theatre critic. From 1917 Adson was a member of the Siuru literary movement, which exerted great influence on the Estonian literature. Later he was also active in the Tarapita movement. Adson was one of the most outstanding poets in the Võro language of southern Estonia. As an often conservative theatrical and literary critic, he exercised influence on the cultural scene of the Republic of Estonia. Gothic font cover design and amazing original graphic expressionist frontispiece created by one of the most outstanding Estonian modern artists Ado Vabbe (1892-1961), whose significance in Estonian culture is founded on his Avant-Garde work and whose name is accociated with the advent of Futurism, Cubo-Futurism and Expressionism.
