Construction lines and measurements are shown. The exercise then requires calculations to be made from the drawing and written in. The errata sheet includes the information that Chief Engineers have 6 hours to complete the work to B.O.T. standard. Title page signed 'Thomas H. Scott, S/S Cotswold Range, 3rd Engineer'. The front end paper bears his address in Jarrow-on-Tyne. Greatly used and some sheets of drawings not well folded, else a good copy in well thumbed and lived-with condition. Scarce.
