Though not identified as such, this copy was part of the folklorist Sa…muel Preston Bayard and retains what are likely his notations in pencil inside the front cover referencing Baring-Gould and Sharp and transcribing a tune, interior otherwise unmarked. xxxix,629 pp. Scarce first ptg. (Oct. 1934) of this pioneering and highly influential anthology. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.
