Name auf Vorsatz, Umschlag hinten (unbedruckt) mit zwei sehr kleinen Randein- bzw. einem kleinen Randausriss. Sonst insgesamt aber gutes Exemplar. Erste deutsche Ausgabe dieser Lobeshymne auf das kommunistische Albanien. Der linke schwedi…sche Schriftsteller Jan Myrdal (1927-2020), Sohn der beiden Nobelpreisträgern Alva und Gunnar Myrdal, bereiste alleine und gemeinsam mit seiner zweiten Frau, der Photographin Gun Kessle (gest. 2008), viele Länder wie China, Albanien und Kambodscha etc., über die er Bücher publizierte und sich mit den darin vertretenen politischen Ansichten viele Gegner machte. Er veröffentlichte daneben aber auch viele weitere Bücher zu unterschiedlichsten Themen, so z.B. teils autobiographisch gefärbte Romane, Theaterstücke und über seine Lieblingsautoren (Strindberg, Sartre, Balzac) etc. Er kann als Paradebeispiel dafür gelten auf welche abstrusen Irrwege Menschen politisch geraten können, aber auch dafür wie totalitäre Ansichten, egal ob von Links oder von Rechts oder islamistisch geprägt, austauschbar sind! In seinen Reiseberichten vertrat er völlig widersprüchliche politisch extreme Positionen, so verteidigte er z.B. Mao Tse-tung und die chinesische Kulturrevolution. Das Massaker am Tian'anmen-Platz verurteilte er zwar zunächst, hielt es später aber für gerechtfertigt. Er lobte die Regimes von Pol Pot und der Roten Khmer in Kambodscha oder wie vorliegend des albanischen Stalinisten Enver Hoxha. Er sah sich aber auch Vorwürfen als Holocaust-Leugner ausgesetzt und schrieb einen Artikel für die rechtsgerichtete schwedische Zeitung "Nya Tider". 1996 erregte er weltweit Aufsehen als er die Fatwa gegen Salman Rushdie für juristisch korrekt befand und die 2006 in Dänemark erschienenen Mohammed-Karikaturen bezeichnete er als nicht von der Meinungsfreiheit gedeckt. Kritisch äußerte er sich zwar gegenüber Israel, andererseits stand er aber den radikal-islamistischen Regierungen in Afghanistan und Iran oder der Hisbollah positiv gegenüber und sprach sich für einen gemeinsamen Kampf von Marxisten mit konservativen religiösen Gruppierungen aus!
