Nur scheinbar willkürlich ist das gemeinsame Auftreten in dieser Ausstellung, denn die sieben Maler und Zeichner machen klar, daß es nicht auf den Stil (und sei es nur der herrschende Stil der Stillosigkeit), auf irgendeine Stilrichtung ankommt, daß vielmehr die Intensität der erarbeiteten eigenen Sprache den Rang von Kunst ausmacht. Dem Leser dieser Zeilen möchte ich dies vermitteln: Mir war es der eigentliche Eindruck beim Gang durch die Ateliers der sieben Künstler in der Rheinstraße (einen Tag vor Eröffnung der Bildwechsel-Ausstellung), mit einer sympathischen, ja auch hier und da eindrucksvollen Vielfalt konfrontiert zu werden, die Beispiel für den eigentlichen Geist der heutigen Bildkunst sein kann.
