Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Full leather hardback with gilt lettering down the spine. A few patches rubbed and worn but still showing well and holding firm. The red and black title-page is a little darkened and the lower right corner is chipped, slightly affecting the border and text; in addition the portrait frontispiece is missing; even so the contents are otherwise complete and very tidy, just age toned and tanned. Moreover, not from a library so no such stamps or labels. Neither are there any pen-marks or inscriptions, save the former owner's stamp and name at the endpaper: George H. Radford (very possibly the Liberal politician: Sir George Heynes Radford). Size: 8vo (143mm x 90mm); collation: pp. [6], 146. Thus a scarce book about the leader of the Nepalese revolt against Habsburg Spain, Masaniello, who died in 1647; and despite the title-page chip and lack of a frontispiece, still a very good copy indeed.
