Seit sieben Jahren arbeitet Martin Lenz mit dem Schriftsteller Manfred Mai zusammen. Im Frühjahr 2009 legten sie ihre erste CD vor. Es folgten "Lesekonzerte" für Erwachsene, später auch für Kinder.
