The Saint Albans News, the official student publication of St. Albans School, was founded in 1930 making it one of the oldest student newspapers in the country. Among the notable students of St. Albans are Al Gore, John Kerry, Neil Bush, Harold Ford, Jr., Gore Vidal and many Roosevelts. This bound volume covers the academic year in which St. Albans integrated; it was one of the earliest private schools in Washington to do so.
