Spätere Pressung der Aufnahmen von 1910, hier Label mit dem zusätzlichem Aufdruck "Musica G.D.", der erst nach dem 1. Weltkrieg erscheint, als ein französischer Verleger für ca. 10 Jahre Teilhaber der Deutschen Grammophon war (Informationen zur zeitlichen Einordnung nach Blog-Beiträgen der Website "Grammophon-Platten"). Grünfeld (1852-1924) war ein österreichischer Pianist, Komponist und Musikpädagoge. 1873 kam er nach Wien, wo er Professor am Neuen Wiener Konservatorium wurde. Bei zahlreichen Konzertreisen durch Europa und die USA wurde er vor allem durch seine Konzertparaphrasen von Strauss-Walzern bekannt. Johann Strauss (Sohn) widmete ihm seinen "Frühlingsstimmenwalzer? Grünfeld war der erste bedeutende Pianist von dem eine umfangreichere Anzahl von Aufnahmen auf Platte und Welte-Klavierrollen gemacht wurden. Seine erste Aunahme machte er 1899 für Emil Berliners neu gegründete Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft. Sprache: de.
