Encuadernación rústica con solapas, cubierta ilustrada. 161 págs. Esta tragedia es una terrible historia que habla de agresiones sexuales, tortura, adulterio, corrupción y venganza. La pro…tagonista, Beatrice Cenci, existió en la realidad y fue ejecutada en Roma el 11 de septiembre de 1599. Su vida ha sido recogida por otros autores como Percy Bysshe Shelley (Nobel tenía en su poder cuatro ejemplares de su drama The Cenci) y Alberto Moravia. Némesis fue autoeditada por Nobel en París en 1896, su autor murió justo antes de poder ver el drama impreso, y el entonces pastor de la legación sueca en la capital francesa, Nathan Söderblom, decidió juntamente con sus herederos destruir todos los ejemplares menos tres para no dañar la reputación del inventor. En la actualidad sólo se conoce un ejemplar, depositado en el Archivo Nacional de Suecia. La obra tiene evidentes dificultades de representación y no sabemos si Nobel la concibió pensando en que sólo fuera leída. De todas formas, ante esta obra podríamos aventurarnos en pensar que Nobel no vería con malos ojos el premio a Darío Fo que tanto disgustó a una iglesia que no contaba con sus simpatías.
