In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, all volumes are smart with good colour. Vol I has some losses to the head of the spine and the cloth is lifting. A little staining to the front boards of Vols III and IV, and to the spines of Vols II and III. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, but with some spotting to the first few pages, the plates and the fore edge, which affects the occasional page.
