Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. A biography of Elizabeth Bowes Lyon, better known as Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, but at this date, Duchess of York. Not dated, but believed to be c.1926. In a small format, part of the Novel Library (though a biography), in maroon/brown cloth, lettered in gilt. What makes this copy remarkable is that it is in a complete, colour illustrated dust jacket, just a trifle edge worn, 240 pp., 8 photos. At this age, about 26, the Queen Mother of Elizabeth II was already famous and popular, the jacket blurb calling her 'the idol of the far flung empire'.
