Farrow, G. E. [George Edward Farrow (17 March 1862 - 1919 born in Ipswich in England, was a noted British children's book author of whose life little is known]. Illustrated by Alan Wright (1864-1959), husband of Anne Anderson, who was a distinctive illustrator in his own right, with a particular talent for animal subjects.
