Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Hi. Welcome to our small, family-owned bookstore. Published 1926 by Charles Scribner's Sons. Translated from Andre Blum's French original by R. R. Tatlock. Hardcover, no dust jacket. The covers (blue-green, with gilt artwork and lettering) are very good for its age: corners and spine show wear, including some 1/4" tears and chips. The spine is also lightly faded. Some soil spots on the back cover. Text pages are lightly age-tanned, but otherwise, clean and unmarked (EXCEPT a small ink-stain on page 204/205) Rich in b/w illustrations. Tinted top edge. Front end-papers hold the names of two previous owners. Strong sewn binding. 291 pages, includes indices. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost. Thanks for checking out this book from our small town brick-and-mortar and supporting a small business.
