Mit einer arabischen Segelschaluppe erreichen wir die ostafrikanische Kuste und reisen von Dar es Salaam durch die Serengeti zur nordwestlichen Grenze Tansanias, wo wir die Yego-Fischer und die Rinder haltenden Mura am Lake Victoria besuchen. Die dritte Reise beginnt in Kathmandu, Nepal, und fuhrt uns in den sudostlichen Solu-Khumbu, wo wir am Fusse des Himalaya sieben Wochen zu Fuss unterwegs sind. Dort begegnen wir der Gastfreundschaft von funf Kulturen, den vielen Gottern und Gottinnen sowie maoistischen Rebellen. Unsere vierte und letzte Reise fuhrt uns nach Franzosisch Guayana. Wir reisen nach Paramaribo, der Hauptstadt Surinames, und gelangen ins Amazonasgebiet, das Schutz fur Indianer, Nachfahren entlaufener Sklaven und Goldsucher bietet.
