A wonderful little guide to cricket's batting, bowling, fielding etc attributes, written by England Test player Andy Sandham. Well illustrated. Part 1 is on batting (preliminaries, stance and pick-up, the forward shots, playing back, hooking, pulling, cutting and gliding); the second part is on bowling (some general hints, fast bowling, spin bowling: the leg-break and the googly, and the off-break); while the third part is headed "General". The latter comprises - In the field: general hints; Wicket-keeping; Batting: some general hints; and Captaincy. Illustrated card cover to book which is in generally fair condition - wear with minor loss to bottom of spine; some bubbling to front pastedown; light foxing on front end papers and pages nearby, but significant foxing to rear end papers and pages nearby; foxing marks also on top and side edges of text block; internally mostly very clean and tidy. Jacket (see the second accompanying image) very poor with heavy foxing on inside. The third accompanying image shows, at an angle, the spine of the cover of the book; and the fourth shows the spine of the book itself.
