Linguistic Codification and Construction of a Literary Canon in the Crown of Aragon, XIV-XVth Centuries (European… Research Council, FP 7 2009-2013-240170), celebrat a la Universitat de Barcelona el 24 de maig del 2013. La poesia del corpus pres en consideració, escrita a Catalunya entre els segles XIV i XV, es caracteritza per una varietat formal que es manifesta sense trencaments en els temes ni en l'estil, encara arrelats a la fin'amor dels trobadors i al gènere que n'és la màxima expressió, la cançó. Per això, adoptant la perspectiva de la posteritat, es pren com a títol un conegut vers d'Ausiàs March, "cobles e lays, danses e bon saber / lo dret d'Amor no poden conquerer" (Ja tots mos cants me plau metre en oblit). Allò que March deixa enrere és la poesia entesa com un exercici lligat al gai saber: uns gèneres, una mètrica, una dicció que són portadors d'una manera estilitzada de parlar de l'amor, i una llengua poètica que, des de l'època dels trobadors, s'associa al codi cortès.
