Aggiungi al carrelloSoft cover. Condizione: Good. Original staple bound printed wraps 17 x 24cm. 38pp. Wraps good with marks to the back and tears along the spine. Interiors very good with light creasing. Egypt and Syria formed the United Arab Republic in 1958, and although Syria withdrew in 1961, Egypt retained the name of UAR for itself until 1971. Desires for Pan-Arab unity, concerns over Palestine and unfolding events led to the idea being resurrected, with talks held between the UAR (Egypt), Syria and Iraq in Cairo during 6-17 April 1963. This publication, dated 17 April 1963, records the outcomes. It announces the Union (Federal State of the UAR), and describes its constitution, construction, and organisation.
