With illustrations throughout, many by notable illustrators of the time. The book is rubbed,to the sides, edges and corners. Firm binding inner hinges sound, no splitting along endpapers. Pages browned to edges, mainly quite clean, complete and in good order. Very good copy.

This collection contains all three parts of Jepson's Detective mystery, based on a prematurely retired Anglo-Indian police officer who decides to join a private detective agency on his return to London. Also containing 'The Battle of Richebourg-Festubert' and 'The Battle of Loos' from Doyle's series 'The British Campaign in France and Flanders,' as well as the war-time adventure 'The Man-Trap' by "Sapper," and Wodehouse's 'Jeeves and the Unbidden Guest' and 'Uneasy Money' chapters XI-XXI.
