Some spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages dyed red are slightly dusty. Previous owner's name in pen inside front board. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/mild foxing to page edges and bottoms. Previous owner's name and date in pen to front end-paper. Odd small mark/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults. Back lower corner bumped. Remaining corners rounded inwards. Wrinkling to head and tail, no tears. Some fading along upper edges. Publisher's gilt name has rubbed off tail of spine. Blank endpapers. ffep has price information written in pencil. A binding thread is caught underneath the rear pastedown that has left an impression on the rfep. Two large chips missing from pages 5-6 and 7-8. Cut and deckled textblock edge. Final 20 pages have a rounded impression along the fore-edges, probably a manufacturing error. Pages has light toning from age. 320pp. Primarily purple and white pictorial dustjacket. Dark blue and gilt text. Two chips to tail of spine: 0.25 and 0.5 inches, respectively. Large chip to head of spine, including 0.5 inch closed tear. Five small, closed tears to top edge. 0.5 inch closed tear to lower back edgel, 0.25 inch closed tear to lower front edge. Closed tear along front upper corner and around into front flap. Back upper corner missing. Spine has significant fading to purple, as do upper edges. Front and back panels are still bright. Back flap has significant toning. Light blue and gilt publicity wraparound included. Fading and discoloration to spine and folds, but other bright and intact. Fold along back panel, no tears.
