Boards in good conditions, corners a bit bumped. Tanned cut edges and staining to the front edge that has leached into some of the pages. Tanning and foxing to the endpapers, prelims, last couple of pages and a few pages in the text. Text is, howeve,r mostly clean. Many black and white illustrations and four colour plates including frontispiece of the White Rabbit rushing past Alice. No dust jacket.

Another Willis & Wallis doggy adventure in which the friends take part in a BBC radio play. Beautiful colour frontis of W&W outside BBC Broadcasting House in Portland Place, London and featuring Eric Gill's Prospero. Many other full page illusrations in text.

The book itself has a mid-blue "Seagull Library" cover with silver logo on the front, boards show some fading and bumping around the edges but the binding is still square and firm. Very light fading at edges as expected with a book of this age, otherwise the text block is clean and unmarked. Colour frontispiece and half-page black and white illustrations at the start of each chapter. 1957 impression of an edition first published in 1950.
