Good. H. C. Bailey was an English author of detective fiction, and he is best remembered for his character Reggie Fortune, who features in this novel. 'The Red Castle' is set against the back drop of a remote English castle, and when a wealthy man is found dead, Reggie is called in to help solve the mystery.
