Gilt lettering and decoration to spine. 9.25ins x 6.25ins, viii, 319pp, 1pp advertisement plus 3 maps (one folding) and 11 plates (5 folding). Plates as listed except plate 5 appears opp p54 not p56. Pages 1-168 cover Northumberland, 169 to 237 Cumberland and 239 to 317 Westmoreland. This last work is by A. Pringle. Some age toning to the plates and a few of the text pages. A handsomely bound, well preserved copy., 1797
