Ces textes de glorification de Dieu sont des apologies de l'encyclopédisme de la Renaissance et de la Foi ; le système de Copernic est de ce fait, considéré comme une chimère. L'auteur connut un grand succès jusqu'au XVIIè siècle. Une importante introduction de Michel Braspart précède les deux textes - Très bon état.
