Die heutige Gesellschaft, sei sie nun totalitär oder relativ demokratisch ausgerichtet, gehorcht, Adorno zufolge, bis in die psychischen Feinstrukturen ihrer Mitglieder hinein, der Gesetzmäßigkeit des absolut gewordenen Identitätsprinzips. Das Allgemeine ist kein Allgemeines aus den Einzelnen, sondern eine Allgemeinheit über die Einzelnen, die sich zu einer neuen, einer zweiten Natur verselbständigt hat. Im Verlaufe der Dialektik der Aufklärung, der Entstehungsgeschichte des abendländischen Subjekts, hat sich das Verhältnis von Objektivität und Subjektivität umgedreht: Die Subjekte werden zu Objekten, das System, dem die Natur als ganz Anderes entgegengesetzt bleibt, zum Subjekt. Damit bleibt gesellschaftliche Wirklichkeit, gemessen an ihrem insbesondere idealistischen Wahrheitsanspruch, unwahr, stellt sie sich als Unrecht dar, zeigt sich die Ungerechtigkeit des Ganzen. Adornos Rechtsdenken ist daher konsequenterweise ein Denken des alles durchziehenden Unrechts, in dem das Recht des Besonderen, das Adorno insbesondere gegen Regel einklagt, nurmehr negativ bestimmt zu werden vermag. Diese Bestimmung kann nur in einem Ansatz negativ dialektischen Naturrechts erfolgen. Dabei erweist sich das alttestamentarische Bilderverbot als Urrecht seines nichtidentischen Substrates, der inneren, unbeschädigten Natur des Besonderen. Condition : very good copy. The various chapters of the book focus on two aspects. First, it discusses the multiplicity of the migrant as a social figure. There is not just one type of migrant, but a multiplicity of different fragile configurations that lead to the migrantization of people. Secondly, the same applies to the process of migration itself. There is a plethora of different articulations of fragility in crossing borders and organizing a new life somewhere else. Both perspectives show that the fragility of migration is not an aberration from normality . Fragility is an intrinsic part of the stabilization of social inequalities of migration between different migrants and different countries and regions of the globe. As such, this book is an important resource for researchers and students interested in the study of migration processes.
