Het gedrukte document werd blad per blad gemonteerd in een uitsparing in het midden van een groot vel wit papier ( 51 x 38 cm) zodanig dat beide zijden van het bedrukte blad kunnen gelezen worden bij het omdraaien van dit kader-papier. Herkomst: 18e eeuwse collectie van de Antwerpse Jezuïeten. (Veiling Walter Couvreur). Onderwerp: Zeer omstandige verdediging (in beroep) van de twee bovengenoemde brouwers. Volgens een vonnis van 9 October 1710 werden de brouwers in het ongelijk gesteld in verband met een preferentieële behandeling van hun tegoeden in de successie van wijlen Anthoni Scheerders. Volgens een request van16 Augustus 1546 (!) hebben Antwerpse brouwers voorrang bij de verdeling van de baten bij een failissement of successie. In dit uitvoerig betoog wordt ingegaan op vele precedenten en wetswijzigingen. Dit zeldzame document geeft een goed beeld van de rechtspleging aan het begin van de 18e eeuw. Het is opgesteld in een bombastisch juridisch jargon, doorspekt met Latijnse citaten en Franse woorden. E.g.
