Some of Oliver Messel's costume sketches are reproduced in the text margins. Attractive wraparound dustjacket shows Shaw pulling back a stage curtain to reveal Caesar and Cleopatra (probably by Messel, but uncredited). 114pp. Red boards with facsimile of Michelangelo's head of Cleopatra on front, gilt lettering. Some rubbing and wear to dustjacket but a very nice copy.
