Beautifully Illustrated Bible, Containing the Old and the New Testaments and having 37 Illustrated Plates ( 3 of them Coloured Maps). The Commentary on The Old Testament is by Rev. Robert Jamieson. A Second Illustrated Title Page before the "Poetical Books, starting with the Book of Job, is Illustrated with Our Lord in the Garden of Gethsemane. Commentary by Rev. Jamieson and Rev. E. H. Bickersteth. Frontispiece opposite has a lovely Illustration of the Madonna and Child. Small closed tear in lower margin. The New Testament begins with a Printed Title Page stating that the Commentary is by Rev. Edward Henry Bickersteth. Frontispiece Illustrated with The Three Magi following the Star. Worn, marked and scratched to both volumes, small crack starting to the base of the front of Vol I, the hinges to both volumes are sound, the gutter is strained to the beginning and end of Vol II.
