Gold gilt upper page ends are very slightly soiled. Covers exhibit light wear and fraying on corners and spine ends. Light wear…to bottom edges. Very light shelf wear and soiling to covers. Large fold-out map detailing the mining district of California and the full page b&w illustration in the front of the book are both slightly yellowed due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Inside front hinge is just starting to crack. Still firmly attached. Text is yellowed due to age but clean and unmarked. Details the experience of two migrants from the Middle West to California. A Lakeside Classic. Edited by Milo Milton Quaife. All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-library unless explicitly described as such.
